JOHN EDWARD IN PITTSBURGH |
|||||||||||||||||||
| Margaret got an email about the psychic John Edward being in Pittsburgh on Dec. 12th. | |||||||||||||||||||
|
|
All you had to do was buy his latest book "Final Beginnings" from the bookstore in Pittsburgh, and there was a ticket to go see him in person. |
||||||||||||||||||
| Margaret already had the book, read it and told me it was a great book, that she would like to see it as a movie. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Well she called my sister Olive and asked her if she would like to go to Pittsburgh to see John. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Olive ordered the books, and early morning Dec. 12th we left Erie and went to Pittsburgh. |
|
||||||||||||||||||
| It had snowed a little the night before, but the weatherman said we were going to get a Blizzard on Monday. | |||||||||||||||||||

The ride down was nice. We got there about 11am. The doors didn't open until 1:30 pm but Margaret wanted to be first in line.
| We found the parking garage, saw that others were already in line. | ![]() |

We went to the Holiday Inn and used their bathroom, wanted to have some coffee or something to eat, but decided against it. We just went and stood in line.
Peopled talked about seeing him in other cities
and how some of the places even passed out coffee and hot chocolate while
they waited. This place would have made a mint if they would have opened
up the doors early and let us buy some drinks and snacks.
Olive's feet were froze, my knees were aching, Margaret's back of her legs were stiff. We stood there until 1:30 when they opened the doors. |

The security guard said no cameras, recording devices of any kind. It was distracting. People were disappointed but they put them away. Next a guy came out he asked that we turn off or put on vibrate our cell phones or beepers and at that exact time, his went off. Everyone laughed. Then he introduced John Edward. John came out in sneakers and jeans. He thanked everyone for coming and explained why he had this type of venue. He actually rented the hall himself. This time he could focus on his book and the process of his work. He started talking and answered people questions. I couldn't hear all of what he said but the people were really excited. He asked a man about a young child that passed. Not his child but a friend of his. The wife had to help him remember people. Even his own family information. I know what John means by "deer in the car headlights" or family amnesia.
It was interesting and before you knew it the people that were with him
said it was time to leave.
We went out to the parking garage and Margaret went to pay the cashier. We did get out of there and headed EAST.
Olive suggested that we stop in Cranberry to get something to eat. We stopped at Kings Restaurant.
