July 19, 2006 - You know everything breaks
down sometime. My camper needed some minor maintenance.
The Step stopped going in and out and on our last outing I turned
on the hot water heater and didn't have water in it.
The wires got burned. So I took it out to Ray Wakley's RV Center
and John W. Lexow did such an excellent job. Within 24 hours
he was calling me to come get my camper. Yep it was fixed.
And for a reasonable price too! |
If you have camper problems, go see John. Let
him know I sent ya.

Sunday Aug 6, 2006 we went to Griswold Park to an event held
by the Visiting Nurses Association of Erie. Olive, Marg, Mary and
I got butterflies in memory of Quincy, Gerry, Chuck Kaus and Bill
and released them with about 200 other people. I didn't bring my
camera but it was a sight to see. One butterfly landed on a little
girl's arm and stayed there for the longest time.
Marg added this
butterfly to the Life Ever After pages. It was a nice event.
Later we went to Clara Kaus' house where they had a birthday party for
Mary Bennett. She even blew out some candles on a birthday cake.
Other's took pictures, but I didn't have my camera. It was a nice
party. |
August 12, 2006 Yesterday Olive came
by and picked me up and we went to the cemetery to visit Ann Case
(Robert's first wife) Took a picture of the headstone for
her
Life Ever
After website. Then we went to the
Muse Family reunion
in Jamestown, Pa. Took some photos. Visited with family and then
came home.
It was late getting back so I stayed at Olive's house and she
brought me home this morning.
While I was gone my birds were alone and got out of their cage,
but my granddaughter and grandson came over and found them and put
them back. |
