Welcome to
Big Sister Anna Mae's Web Page

4th of July and we wanted to "go somewhere".
We left Erie on Thursday July 3, 2004. Headed for Hershey Park, Pa.
We decided to do some sightseeing as well.
Spent the first night in a rest area on I-80.

Me in my Rialta

We stopped at Penn's Cave.

Penn's Cave gift store. Mary did you read all this?
How would you like this guy in your back yard? Mary and I descending to the caverns.  48 stairs?
It doesn't say we have to walk down 48 steps. This rock looks like the Statue of Liberty
This is interesting to read. The tour guide put his light on this stalagmite.
Wow, inside the cave. pretty colors This took a long time to form
It's a lot more colorful than the photographs I bet this took a long time to grow
They have their own lake Are we going back in?
Nice boat trip where to next??

HERSHEY PARK, PA

We arrived at Hershey Park just about dusk.  We decided to go into the Chocolate Factory until it was time for the FIREWORKS.

Chocolate World Albe and Mary next to the chocolate cow

We all went through the candy factory, but Mary got a badge and was proclaimed an official Hershey employee.

You want nuts with that? $500 please Having a wonderful time at Hershey Park

We all got hats, and candy and we learned of the history of chocolate and Hershey Pa.

Leaving there after the fireworks we got a motel. It was a lot more space than the Rialta.
Also there was a pool and Mary got to swim. On the way back we stopped at Fort Loudon.

no luck Mary at the entrance
 Nope, didn't find any.

It started to rain so we left.
Not much happening on Sunday

Our trip home was nice, rain in some parts and sunny in others. It was fun to go, but good to be back home.
