Welcome to   Big Sister Anna Mae's Web Page

ON THE ROAD AGAIN  2005 Tioga Fleetwood 24ft with a bedroom

My brother John came from Fla. He agreed to drive my camper west.

Sept 22nd right after we said good bye to the family, we headed out.  Stopping at our sister Daisy's for the night.

Friday morning up and ready to go. We are going to take the high road west instead of route 40 because of Hurricane Rita.
Stopped for a snack in Kansas and called home. Everything is fine. Sunshine here, sunshine there. On our way again.

Some rain but nothing us old pros can't handle. Talked to the family and they are getting rain but nothing damaging.

Made it to brother Jim's in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Brother Jim

Yes that's me enjoying a glass of wine and my granddaughter Mary would be envious that I have Black Hole laying next to me. Evelyn has 7 cats and Mary just loves them. Yes, it's wine

Going to stay a few days here before going on. We plan to go up to Jerome, Arizona and do some sightseeing.

John and Jim drove me to Sedona on Thursday, but they couldn't find the Church. Evelyn wasn't feeling well so she stayed home. I came home empty handed and disappointed.

So on Friday, Evelyn drove me to Sedona. We left the men home (YES!) and found the Church right away.

This is the back side of the Church and me  taking pixs of the scenery.

Finally made it to Church of the Holy Cross in Sedona

Me on the trail to the Church and a view of some homes in Sedona They are so beautiful

Evelyn walked down to the parking area to take these pix

These were taken in front of the Church

After visiting the Church, Evelyn and I were hungry and thirsty so she took me to Tlaquepaque. We had strawberry/banana and tropical/banana smoothies then went walking around and shopping. We saw galleries of sculptures, paintings, jewelry and artwork with price tags of $26,000 to $30,000.
We picked up a few to take home.

Then we had lunch at the Hidden Garden. Shopping does make you hungry!

I had Southwest corn chowder and Evelyn had Chicken with wild rice soup. She said there must have been half a chicken in that bowl of soup. Both meals were delicious.

We got home late in the afternoon and had stuffed peppers for dinner.
Check to see where we went  next.
