Sunday 3/30/08

Such a beautiful day, my daughter and I decided to hide some of my own caches, while looking for others.

The Pitz Coin Cache

Easy find, wet area due to the snow melting, lucky we had boots. Took two TB's to move  them on. Signed log and left a penny from heaven, My first TB Shrek and a blue keychain pen.
West Side Cache

Northeast Cemetery
My husband's grandmother is here somewhere. Trees decided to throw the GPS off some  but with the clear day and good weather I spotted  the cache on  the ground. Not covered up just laying there.
Took a Sailboat TB and a bracelet. left a sheriff badge, pen keychain and a Marshal TB.

If you park by Rouse and head for the pine, at the  base you will find the cache. 193ft from parking.
Stay Alert
Found it, not covered very well. Snow gone and the evidence of deer visitors could have uncovered it. Signed the log, took flashlight keychain, music keychain, left flashlight, sheriff badge, purple whistle, pen and my own gingerbread man TB.

You can call me the mistress of hidden treasures I hid this one good.

While posting this I found out that jw12 discovered it and sent my gingerbread man on to Florida.
He had to have seen me hide the cache, I hid it good!
Revealed "The Resurrection"

Great big Ammo box.  Soak and Wet inside. There was at least an inch of water. Drained it out and tried to dry out the box and put the contents in plastic bags. Took at Santa TB and left a bag of goodies from grammyannie.
We stopped back at the house and got Mary and she went with us to "Hide" my caches.
My Gratest Hide Yet!.. a micro  bring a pencil

Then we headed out to McKean to hide the rest.
On the way we stopped at the Bear's Den. I had been here 3 times before but never found it.
Well it was laying right on the ground.

So I signed the log and put it back. Didn't take anything but left my Gecko TB.

Stopping out to say hello to Bill, I decided to put a magnetic cache in honor of our Vets.

A flagpole should have a flag on it.

Left here and went across the street to see his mother and dad.

This cache "Once Held Spaghetti"
is big enough to hold some items to share. Watch out for the prickers.

Back in the car and on our way to the farm. Stopped at a cemetery on the hill. Map says it's in Reed's Crossroads. Wow never heard that area called that. Well its about time the Reed's were noted for something.
This cache is a Pretzel container. Full of stuff to share, log book to sign and clear so you can see inside.

Our last stop for the day is at  Fuller's 8 and one half
Oren's bricks helped me hide this one.

Too bad he never got the bar-b-q built.

Well on home so Marg can log all these on.  And I am tired.            Main Page
