Sunday and Monday  Geocaching

My daughter Margaret and friend Sue took me on a Sunday drive with GPS  in hand.

"Ring around the rosy" Found and signed log
Yep the hint was "near a rock" And this is where it was

And on to the next one   "Scatter Brained"

This was easy to find - newly mowed too But empty -  no log just a little  rock
On to the next one
"Waterlogged Sub-average"

This one was the mostest funnest one

Left my name on a piece of paper
Looks like this is the way in Says don't open the grate
So it's down here somewhere
Here's a string  It's almost like fishing
and look what I found   It was on real tight
And this is the way out!

Colonel Crawford Cache

Walked and walked and walked Nice paths but muddy
But we didn't find it.  All I found was some nuts for my squirrels

On to the next one  "DEcryptED

Seems like the Drake family ended up here Fenced in but not kept up

One hint said "Face the crypt and turn around" Don't know what Sally had to do with the other hint
But I found it can you see it?
Nice Cache  the good kind With lots of stuff in it
I signed the book and left a couple key chains Now covered it up

As we were leaving emtfire10 and Firegirl69 were pulling up. They gave us the coordinates to another nearby

Shaky Bridge

This is called Shaky Bridge and Firegirl 69 went under the bridge to get it for me.
At 83 I don't plan to climb up or down.

A cookie tin full of goodies Signed the book and left tape measure and level keychain and a nut.

On to the next one "Fountain of Youth"      Ha Ha HA

Guess you have to be a youth to find this one Seems we walked the paths, saw a creek but no fountain, got wet but didn't drink any of the water.

Getting dark so we decided to call it a day.  5 out of 7 finds for the day.

10/15/07

With Margaret having to work, Sue and I set out to find what we didn't get to yesterday.

Yea there's something hidden there
Don't have to cross the bridge, just go under it

Nice find and I got two stamps also.

Then on the way home we found out that Sue's daughter Nina had a baby boy. So we went to the hospital to see him.  Don't he have grandma's mouth?
